NIRA (Nigeria Internet Registration Association) is the operator of the ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain) .ng for the federal constitutional republic of Nigeria, a country which consists of thirty-six states and one Federal Capital Territory. It is located in West Africa and is the world's eighth most populous country. The .ng registration takes place at a first-come-first-serve basis.

The domain name .ng is intended for entities connected with Nigeria, therefore registration is restricted to permanent Nigerian residents who are the at or over the legal age.
